    Delicious! Fresh!! Healthy!!! Tasty!!!!
These're Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth to me!
Every vegetable is very fresh-- It's very good!
Basic soup itself tastes good without any other sauce like my mom's soup.
I can trust foods in Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth!

Also the sauce tastes very special!
It has five different types. I prefer mild one. It's perfect for me.
Using sauce bar, I can make my own sauce as well.

Anyway It's best place if you want to try healthy, tasty and special food! :)

Thanks to this place, purple makes my mouth water.
If you don't get it, you need to give this place a try!

Gom Shabu Shabu has a special place in my heart. The warm purple broth, the mound of veggies and thinly shredded beef will always be my go to when I need to recover from a cold, or just warm up in general.

Each person is given a stove and pot to cook however they wish, whatever they wish!

There is also 2 sauce bars; guest bar for diy sauces, and employees if you trust them to make yours for you. I make my own because Im the best sauce maker. The sauce bar consists of cilantro, garlic, green onion, jalapeno, white peanut/sesame sauce, chili sauce, chili oil, ponzu, and other bottled sauces. In my honest opinion their white sauce is the best in the area. so good!

For the meats you can order a variety of things, like beef, premium beef*, chicken, pork, lamb, and seafood. each protein comes with a mound of vegetables like napa cabbage, spinach, purple cabbage, corn, bok choi, broccoli, sweet pumpkin, sweet potato, along with a sausage, crab imitation, fish cakes, tofu, rice cakes, an egg, and rice noodles. Its alot, but no refills!
They also bring a bowl of fresh bean sprouts for the table too. This is refillable.

We always get the premium beef which is served frozen and shaved into little rolls. The only reason I take one star off is because lately the beef has been getting way too thin. Before, the beef was a little thicker so that it would hold its shape even when it melted. But when I went recently, it was so thin that it would just break apart into pieces when it melted or cooked. Normally one order of beef was enough for me but I ordered another one because i was still hungry :(..

Hopefully that will change soon, but either way I will always come back here.

I've been to about 3-4 different shabu shabu restaurants in the area and Gom Shabu is my favorite.

Few Things I love about Gom Shabu
    1. Broth: their broth is more flavorful than other places I've been to.
    2. Portions: their portions are huge. They give you more than enough vegetables and stuff to leave you filling. I almost never finish all my food!
    3. Privacy: although there's a table right next to you, there are shades or dividers that provide ample amount of privacy.

I think if it's your first time trying shabu, Gom Shabu is a good place to start!

This Shabu-Shabu is definitely more Korean style than Japanese, but the 10.99 lunch specials are good bang for the buck. Nice, thinly sliced meat, lots of veggies and variety, and doesn't break the bank.

Not super impressed by the broth or dipping sauce, but it's a fun, healthy meal, at a good price.  I like the individual pots at each seat, and the separated booths.

If you have had Shabu-Shabu before, this is definitely worth a try. If you're looking for a Japanese Shabu-Shabu experience, you may be disappointed in this staying from your expectations.
